Industrial cleaning services in GTA for Real Business Use
This page explains what industrial cleaning includes, how it fits around production, and what drives the price.
Industrial buildings are cleaned while they work. Floors carry forklift and foot traffic, dust settles on racking and ledges, and lunchrooms and washrooms are used by every shift.
We plan the work zone by zone and around shift changes so production and shipping keep moving. Areas around running machinery are cleaned only when the site makes them safe.
For facility types such as food plants, warehouses and manufacturing, see the industry page. This page covers the service itself.

Service Scope
What Our Industrial cleaning services Team Can Cover in GTA
What industrial cleaning includes
The scope is set after a site walk. Most plans include the tasks below.
- Machine scrubbing of floor lanes and production floors
- Sweeping and dust mopping of racking aisles
- High dusting of ledges, beams and lights by zone
- Dock and door area clean-up
- Lunchrooms, change rooms and washrooms
- Plant offices and meeting rooms
Safety rules on industrial sites
Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation 851 (Industrial Establishments) set duties for industrial workplaces, including keeping floors used by workers free of obstructions, hazards and accumulations of refuse. Those duties stay with the employer; our cleaning supports them.
Cleaning products used at work fall under WHMIS 2015, so containers are labelled and Safety Data Sheets are available. Our crew completes the site orientation, wears the PPE the site requires, follows forklift traffic routes, and does not clean machinery unless the site has isolated it under its own lockout procedures.
Scheduling around production
Most sites use a mix of short visits at shift changes for lunchrooms and washrooms, machine scrubbing of floor lanes on a rotation, and high dusting spread over several weeks so only a small area is closed at a time. Shutdown periods are used for bigger jobs.

Pricing
What Affects Industrial cleaning services Pricing in GTA
What drives the cost of this work. Prices are quoted after a site visit.
The main cost drivers are floor area, how much of it needs machine scrubbing and how often, the height and extent of high dusting, the number of washrooms, lunchrooms and change rooms, and how many shifts need between-shift visits.
Site conditions matter too: heavy dust or oil, restricted access around production, required PPE or permits, and work that must be done at night or during shutdowns. We price after a site walk. See also Warehouse Cleaning and Janitorial Services.
FAQ
Industrial cleaning services GTA FAQ
What is the difference between industrial cleaning and janitorial service?
Janitorial service covers offices, washrooms and common areas. Industrial cleaning adds production floors, racking aisles, docks and high dusting, done around operations and site safety rules.
Can you clean while the plant is running?
Yes, zone by zone. Areas near running equipment are cleaned only when the site makes them safe, and larger jobs are planned for shutdowns.
Do you clean machinery?
Only when the site has isolated the equipment under its own lockout procedures and the task is agreed in writing. Routine machine cleaning by operators stays with the site.
How is high dusting done safely?
One zone at a time, using the access method the site approves. Any lift or ladder work follows the site's working-at-heights rules.
What do you need from us before starting?
A site walk, the shift schedule, safety orientation, PPE rules, traffic routes, areas that are off limits, and a site contact.
Do you provide Safety Data Sheets?
Yes. SDS for every product we bring on site are available before work starts, as WHMIS 2015 requires.
Which areas do you serve?
Industrial areas across the GTA, including Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Scarborough and North York. Call 647-250-9918 to confirm your address.
Are your crews insured and police-checked?
Yes. Lowfare has WSIB clearance and commercial liability insurance, and our staff are police-checked. Certificates are supplied with the quote or on request, for your contractor file.
