SANITIZING AND DISINFECTION
As a responsible agency in the Janitorial service business, Low Fare Maintenance tracks the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation regularly. There is no greater priority than our clients' and workers' health and welfare.

As the proliferation of COVID-19 begins to influence us domestically, sifting through the noise to identify the reality is becoming more difficult. To ensure that our clients have options that support their work, our staff is working diligently to capture and distribute this information.
From our side, we are taking all the possible actions to prevent the infection and transmission of this virus. As an industry specializing in the clean-up and recovery of hazardous environments, we are being approached in ways that previously seemed unthinkable. Despite all the challenges we face our team is working 24 hours a day to provide the best support in these difficult times.
In healthcare environments, the CDC advises regular washing and disinfection practices (e.g. the use of cleaners and water to pre-clean surfaces before adding a government-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant to regularly touched surfaces or items for acceptable contact periods as seen on the product label) are suitable for COVID-19.

Low Fare is taking several steps to provide for the health and safety of all of our customers.
Special Deep Sanitization and Disinfection Services.

Disinfection Using Foggers:

-
Clean all high touch points, and flush exterior door handles, frames and door panels with the pre-cleaner provided.
-
Clean the interior of the front door handles, the frame, and the inside of the slab, to clean all contact points with the pre-cleaner once the whole room/area is complete. Walls up to 6 feet high should be viewed as touchpoints to be disinfected.
-
In hallways, shared spaces and those with noticeable hand stains or a build-up of dust or dirt should be properly cleaned. Doors, openings, windows, frames, and trims should be considered as touch points to be cleaned up.
-
Disinfection of all floors, business spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and dining areas should be done appropriately.
-
Disinfectant shall be applied to foggers, even around HVAC vents. Doors, openings, windows within sight, door frames and door trims, all locks, knobs, levers, buttons, outlets, and triggers shall be viewed as strong contact spots and get properly disinfected.
-
This involves disinfection of tables, countertops, monitors, keyboards, telephones, printers, outdoor cabinets and all the touchpoints within.

ULV (ultra-low volume) foggers
ULV (ultra-low volume) foggers, do not use heat. Instead, using pressure in one of two ways, they create fog:

-
A high-pressure hose pumps the disinfectant.
-
The solution is slowly sent into a high-speed air vortex. The friction splits the liquid into small droplets, which are then blown out in an invisible fog.
The engines are normally powered either by electricity or by batteries. Operators can change the size of the droplets created by ULV foggers allowing various uses. The lack of heat makes ULV foggers safer for indoor disinfection.

Our Disinfection Process

Our #1 priority for both – our team and our clients, is their safety. For this cause, we ensure that our decontamination process is rigorous and systematic, which contains the following:
Disinfecting surfaces that have a common direct contact with hands. These are work desks, doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.
Deep cleaning of fabric-based pieces such as carpets, chairs, sofas, and furnishings.

Sanitizing devices, laptops and office gadgets utilizing materials specially designed for technological devices to keep them in operating condition.
Disinfecting floors, walls, and ceilings to avoid harmful growths like mold and mildew.

Handling hazardous waste properly by adopting the one-time-use guideline for disposable goods, such as disinfectant wipes.
